Lowbrow Art Academy is going to COPENHELL 2019!
UPDATED 12th February 2019!
COPENHELL is Denmark’s greatest rock and metal festival, popular among metal fans from Denmark and beyond, since 2009. It actually takes place in central Copenhagen, on a peninsula called ‘Refshaleøen’, an industrial site home to the now closed B&W shipyard. See more about the festival here.
Through the years every metal music icon (Ozzy! Korn! Slayer! Iron Maiden! You name it!) has played the stages of COPENHELL, and fans keep coming back for more.
We’re stoked to be able to invite 8 academy members to a Lowbrow Art Academy Summercamp at COPENHELL 2019!!
The Summercamp Break Down
The Summercamp is going to be some fantastic days of painting, hanging out, sun (well, we hope so, it is Scandinavia after all), listening to the best music in the known universe and constant high-fiving.
Each Lowbrow Art Academy member, gets to create an individual piece for the festival scenography, under the COPENHELL designguide.
We’ll be setting up an amazing booth in the art tent, where the Lowbrow Art Academy members can exhibit (and later sell) all of their cool stuff.
We’re opening up for applications to join the Lowbrow Art Academy Summercamp in early 2019!
This COPENHELL/Lowbrow Art Academy collaboration package includes:
- Ticket to the event
- A prime camp spot before and during the Festival
- Breakfast and lunch during the building days
- Working on Festival Scenography
- World wide exposure
